- Effects of systemic hormones and local growth factors on stem cells, cancer stem cells and solid tumors.

- Systemic analyses applied to tumor biology and its translation into personalized treatment approaches (personalized medicine).

- Understanding the mechanisms underlying the natural protection against solid tumors.
