Research interests:
In our laboratory we use intravital two-photon microscopy (2PM) and whole-mount 3D lymph node (LN) imaging of tumor-draining LNs of immunocompetent mice, to analyse the distribution of tumor derived antigens in a B16 melanoma model. Another on going project in the lab is focused to study the effect of downregulating negative modulators in adoptively transferred CD8+ T cells on their capacity of tumor killing in a spontaneously arising murine PyMT-driven breast cancer tumor model, taking advantage of our expertise in mammary gland imaging.
Selected publications:
Intravital and whole-organ imaging reveals capture of melanoma-derived antigen by lymph node subcapsular macrophages leading to widespread deposition on follicular dendritic cells.
